DMX rapper arrested on Animal Cruelty charges

If you remember back from the summer, cops took DMX's 12 pits away from his home, because they were abused. Well, DMX was arrested again for animal cruelty charges after they raided his house and seized 5 more pits & pit mixes. There is one amazing thing that the authorities have allowed...
"five pit bull mix puppies were taken from the rapper's home by an animal control unit and will be taken to to a jail where they will be cared for by female inmates."

I have read about inmates being able to care for homeless animals. I've also seen a film about it, and it really is quite amazing. It's therapeutic for inmates, and these dogs do need help. I think it's a great thing that many more prisons should offer. Anyhow, here is the article...
