Event Description: There is a FREE monthly "Yappy Hour" (a happy hour for dogs) on the 2nd Friday of each month from 6PM to 8PM at Bayside Bed and Biscuit, a pet boarding kennel: http://www.bayside-bb...

There is a big room for the dogs to run around in and play with each other. The humans get free drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks, water) and snacks, and get to socialize with each other and watch the dogs play.

They have a small store with pet items for sale (natural dog and cat food, treats, dog clothes, collars and leashes, dog beds, toys, etc.), and they give a 15% discount to anything purchased during the Yappy Hour.

The staff has been very kind and welcoming to our pit bull, and he loves to socialize with the other dogs and the humans. Staff is great at monitoring the dogs and preventing any potential conflicts.

NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS ALLOWED.

  “ I think it is not very good because there were 4 dog fights i saw. They do try to break them up but I don't think it is safe. But you can keep your dog out of the play room witch is what i had to do anyway. ”

  “ It was nice meeting Seabrook Stephanie, her mom and her adorable puppy. Villain had a nice time, except for one aggressive golden retriever who picked a fight with him. That same dog started 3 other short fights, but staff broke them up quickly. Nobody got hurt. Sorry you didn't have a good time, Stephanie! Hopefully that golden retriever won't be back next month. There were nice snacks and free wine and beer. Lots of other dog people to talk to, and it's fun seeing all the different breeds of dogs running around. Apparently Eric was a no-show, or else he showed up at 7:30 after we left. ”
